Beth and Mark decided they wanted to elope instead of having a larger wedding they initially had planned in their home state of Michigan. They wanted their wedding to be about them…for them…and just them…in an intimate and meaningful celebration. They had visited Isla Mujeres a few times in the past and thought this would be the perfect setting for them. The idea of having a destination wedding on the beach with the sun, sand and ocean was perfect!

I first joined this wonderful couple with a few getting ready photos in the penthouse at Soggy Peso. It was so sweet with Mark helping his bride dress!

Prior to their beach ceremony, we headed to some of the historic and colorful fishing boats and buildings in centro. They danced on the beach, hugged and kissed throughout their photo session. It was so obvious that this couple were crazy about each other!

We then headed over to a beautiful stretch of beach for their Isla Mujeres wedding. Sabina officiated the ceremony and it was magical. They incorporated the water ceremony and tossed petals into the ocean. Following their first kiss, they celebrated with some champagne and we continued to do some beach photos ending with an incredible sunset.
