Isla Mujeres Beach Elopement | Ida + Jason

After our couple’s session at Punta Sur, we headed to our private beach location for their intimate elopement ceremony. Alejandro played Spanish guitar while Jason and Ida walked down the aisle. The sun was shining brightly when their ceremony started, but about half way through, it started to rain ever so lightly but for a minute. Their ceremony encompassed a water blessing and a petal toss into the sea in additional to words of love for each other and God. After the “I DO”, they popped a bottle of champagne to celebrate as we continued to take photos on the beach through sunset while Alejandro played Bossa Nova music in the background.

What a magical day for a beautiful couple. We at Isla Mujeres Elopements couldn’t have been happier to coordinate and photograph Ida and Jason’s destination elopement on Isla Mujeres!
