Isla Mujeres Beach Micro Wedding | Jordyn + Collin
Sometimes NOT having the sun shinning brightly is a good thing! I know that when couples come to Mexico to have a destination beach wedding they want it bright, sunny with blue skies. Well, unfortunately that isn’t always the case; however, sometimes the sky is even BETTER when it’s not sunny like in the case of Jordyn and Collin’s Isla Mujeres wedding!
But I’m getting ahead of myself…Let me share a bit about our cute couple. Jordyn and Collin both grew up playing basketball in different towns, but they always knew about each other. They started talking during college basketball and their their first day was three and one-half years ago. Jordyn shared that her first impression of Collin was that he made her laugh and she felt incredibly comfortable right away with him. Collin’s first impression was that Jordyn was incredibly smart, very good looking and very sassy!
When they started thinking of their wedding day, they knew they wanted a destination wedding and Jordyn’s parents had been to the island a few times and had great things to say about it so they thought it would be the perfect destination!
Jordyn and Collin were joined by their family and close friends for their beach wedding. The sky was threatening and ominous…a soft shade of blue with storm clouds and rain in the distance. From a photographers perspective, it was amazing light! I personally LOVE the sky when it’s like this!
What a wonderful destination wedding! We couldn’t be happier for this amazing couple!
