Isla Mujeres Beach Vow Renewal | Savannah + Daniel

Today was definitely a very, VERY special day! Savannah and Daniel were joined by their two sons to celebrate ten years of wedded bliss. Their vow renewal on Isla Mujeres was actually on their anniversary which made it even sweeter!

Savannah and Daniel’s love story didn’t start ten years ago though. It was actually sixteen years ago. I asked them when they know the other was ‘the one’ and Savannah said almost immediately. Makes me want to cry!

Neither of them had been to Isla Mujeres before, but they loved beaches and had always talked about a dream vacation for years and everything fell into place for thier ten year anniversary.

Their ceremony was incredibly special with both sons standing by their sides as they said “I Do” again. Towards the end of the ceremony, their oldest son, who is only nine, took over the roll of officiant to announce his parents married and for them to have their first kiss. How cute is that!?!

The strength of their relationship is so evident and their love for each other and their children is amazing. Plus, they have so much fun together and love to laugh and are not afraid to be silly. It was a joy to photograph this amazing family!

Before their ceremony on the beach, all of us headed to Punta Sur for a family session around the rocky cliffs and rugged beauty of the island’s south point. Check out highlights from this session here.
