Isla Mujeres Beach Micro Wedding | Cayla + Phoenix

Phoenix first met Cayla in 2020 when he adopted her cat Raisin. Definitely not your normal meeting! Their first impressions of each other were similar; they felt comfortable around each other instantly.

Cayla hadn’t been to Isla Mujeres before, but Phoenix’s first time on the island was when he was five years old! They knew they wanted to have a small destination wedding in Mexico and Phoenix had been wanting to take Cayla to Isla so they decided, why not! Lets get married on the island!

Before they headed to the beach for their wedding, I met up with them for a pre-ceremony couple’s session at Punta Sur. Highlights from this session can be viewed here.

On a beautiful day in May, this wonderful couple tied the knot on our private beach while their loved ones were there to witness their joy.

Champagne and was enjoyed by all with lots of hugs, smiles and laughter!
